Trigger Happy – EBR CQB Kit

{simplegrade:5}
Manufacturer: Trigger Happy (Korea)
Type: Stock Conversion

Trigger Happy – EBR CQB Kit on a TM M14 SOCOM

The Trigger Happy EBR CQB Conversion uses an M4 style buttstock over the Sage style buttstock. Since the intial release of the Trigger Happy EBR, GLock 17 Slide Sets and SF Silencer, I have been very impressed with the build quality of all their products to date.

The advantage of using an M4 style buttstock is you can use a battery capable butt stock. The EBR Conversion is already set to be rear wired, with holes and wiring pass throughs already ready for use.

Trigger Happy – EBR CQB Kit.

I set this 1 up with a G&P crane stock. Helps keep the EBR from getting front heavy.

It was an easy installation like the first Trigger Happy EBR version. If you choose to rear wire it even an easier install since you only need to make 1 wire extension and use existing connectors..

Classic Army – Killflash, Aluminium Honeycomb Filter

{simplegrade:4}
Manufacturer: Classic Army (Hong Kong)
Type: Killflash, Aluminium Honeycomb Filter

Classic Army – Killflash, Aluminium Honeycomb Filter

The Classic Army – Killflash, Aluminium Honeycomb Filter, is CA's version of the Aimpoint Kill Flash Anti Reflection Device. The CA version is much longer and should attach to any aimpoint clone. I've attached it to King Arms, Guarder, AMP Tactical and G&P Aimpoint copies.

Installation requires the removal of a threaded retention ring on the optic itself. The this untit simply screws on.

Guarder – Rifle Rack for Long Arms 2007 Version

{simplegrade:4}
Manufacturer: Guarder (Taiwan)
Type: Rifle Rack for Long Arms 2007 Version

Guarder – Rifle Rack for Long Arms 2007 Version

The Guarder Rifle Rack for Long Arms, 2007 Version, holds 6 Long Arms vertically. I chose this over locally built rifle racks due to its' simplicity and the deal I was able to get locally.

Guarder – Rifle Rack – Loaded

Evike imported these and put them on sale for $99.00. You get free ground shipping for orders over $100.00, so this became an easy decision for me. Most vertical rifle racks built and sold in the U.S. will cost you $90.00 + $35.00 for ground shipping. But on my specific order, Evike did not actually have any of these new in stock. But they did have a used, floor model that was slightly dented and they sold it to me for $85.00 plus free shipping.

G&P – Angled QD Mount

{simplegrade:3}
Manufacturer: G&P ( Hong Kong)

G&P – Angled QD Mount

The G&P – Angled QD Mount is an all metal built, raile mount with a 45 degree angled rail. It's perfect for lights/lasers if you want an offset mount. I wouldn't suggest putting any sort of load on the rail though like a vertical grip or grenade launcher.

*Please note the Surefire G2 Nitrolon Light will not fit in a G&P AK Tactical Light Mount.

King Arms – 68 Round Magazines. Tan

{simplegrade:3}
Manufacturer: King Arms ( Hong Kong)

King Arms – 68 Round Magazines, Metal. Tan. Close color match to the CA SCAR's Tan on right.

I got the King Arms – 68 Round Magazines, for the reason the color closely matches the CA SCAR's magazine. I was pleasantly surprised these are metal and have adequately strong springs and long followers. There is a fitting problem on the CA SCAR though. The upper part of the magazine catch hole needs to be filed slightly for it to stay in place. These magazines also had a fitting issue in my G36 with PPA Magazine Adapter. But fit snugly in my M4 S-System, M4 R.I.S., Type 89, etc.

Classic Army – SCAR Convertible Outer Barrel

{simplegrade:5}
Manufacturer: Classic Army (Hong Kong)
Type:SCAR Convertible Outer Barrel

Classic Army – SCAR Convertible Outer Barrel

Added the Classic Army – SCAR Convertible Outer Barrel. This give the option of running the stock length or a shorter CQB style length. Gotta give HUGE PROPS to our pal Security Officer Allen (The King of SCARs) on doing the install on mine, as well as a few others at the AEX-LA shop. We found the Prometheus 300mm 6.03 EG Barrel for M733 / MC51 Long / Thompson to be the correct lenght to fit with the shorter outer barrel.

Classic Army – SCAR Large Stock Desert

{simplegrade:4}
Manufacturer: Classic Army (Hong Kong)
Type: SCAR Large Stock Desert

Classic Army – SCAR Large Stock Desert

Added the Classic Army – SCAR Large Stock, to give my SCAR a bit more battery space. It will carry the 9.6v/2000Mah Nunchuck batteries as pictured or the custom 10.8v's up to 2700Mah. the stock is fixed and does not expand out.

Nitro.Vo – Battery Box Type-E

{simplegrade:3}
Manufacturer: Nitro.Vo
Type: Battery Box

The Nitro.Vo – Battery Box Type-E can be best described as a Battery Box, with a dummy red dot scope. It serves it's purpose as a battery box, for an 8.4 mini battery well. Battery change out is a breeze.

Nitro.Vo – Battery Box Type-E

But the Red Dot scope is little more then an LED reflecting off a clear plastic lense. It does not function like a real red dot scope does. So if you are hoping this will serve in both roles, it won't. With a real red dot scope, the dot stays oriented down the barrel. The NitroVo boxes red dot is all over the place.

Nitro.Vo – Battery Box Type-E

I got this for my MK46 since after adding the fore grip rails, it became cumbersome to load the battery internally. I used an external PEQ box for a while, but thought the Nitro Battery Box would be a good solution.

Nitro.Vo – Battery Box Type-E
– Comparison to a Real EOTech.

As you can see in the comparison pics, the Nitro Box is very plasticy. Very hard to replicate the black metal of the real EOTech. But the dimensions are suprisingly pretty close.

Most dials and switches on the Nitro Box do not function.

Tacticool Multicam Shorts

{simplegrade:3}
Manufacturer: Me
Type: Shorts

To be perfectly honest, I've been on the fence about Multicam since the Chinese copies of it released. I was an early adopter of MC, buying the real Crye Precision stuff from SKD. But just like the clone AEG's it was bound to happen.

Multicam Shorts

So I think I found a good use for the knock off MC pants at least! I made a set into shorts. (My "Boss" lets me wear shorts to work). And when I tally all the costs up, $25ish for the pants and $10 to alter them to shorts it's about the same price as decent cargos anyway.

Multicam Shorts

Just for reference, you can see and feel the difference between real Crye MC and the Chinese copies.

Multicam Comparisons: Left: SKDTac Pants – 20+ Washes. Middle: Multicam HT Fabric – 0 Washes. Right: Fake MC – 2 Washes

After only 2 washings the knock off multicam showed visible signs of fading. My SKD's made out of real Crye multicam have shown no fading after over 20+ washes. The middle is a fabric bolt form Crye that has been unwashed for comparison.

Oakley – S.I. Assault Boot – Night Camo

{simplegrade:5}
Manufacturer: Oakley
Type: Footwear

These are the Oakley S.I. Assault Boot in Night Camo. These were on sale on closeout at sportsmansguide.com for $39.97 a pair.

Oakley S.I. Assault Boot – Night Camo

These are built like the original S.I. Assault Boots with a leather upper and polymer soles, but in the Night Camo pattern. These are extremely comfortable to wear and at the price they were at are a great buy. My S.I. Assault Shoes I wear on a daily basis have lasted well over 2 years now. So if these boots hold up half as long…
