Peltor – Tactical 6-S Electronic Hearing Protection

{simplegrade:5}
Manufacturer: Peltor (USA)
Type: Electronic Hearing Protection

The Peltor Tactical S-6 is a lightweight, electronic hearing protection system.

Peltor – Tactical S-6 Electronic Hearing Protector

"To hear weak sounds and at the same time be protected against loud noise is a formidable task. However, with the Peltor Tactical 6-S, this becomes possible. Tactical 6-S effectively perceives and localizes weak sounds. A separate microphone, receiver, amplifier and volume control in each cup give the Tactical 6-S true stereophonic reception. Impulse noise is immediately attenuated. Assisted by an ?electronic vent,? the hearing protector will reduce hazardous impulse noises from firearms to harmless levels within five milliseconds. This eliminates the risk of hazardous noise reaching the ear with damaging effects. Tactical 6-S is a hearing protector that listens when appropriate and also attenuates when needed."

Plastix Plus – AR15 Rifle Stand

Manufacturer: Plastix Plus (USA)
Type: AR-15 Stand

Plastix Plus – AR15 Rifle Stand

Sometimes the best items are the simplest of builds. The Plastix Plus – AR15 is made from Polypropolene and is of an extremely simple design.

Plastix Plus – AR15 Rifle Stand

Stand fits in an AR15 magazine compatible magwell adn securely holds the rifle in place. This is perfect for display and maintenance. Works on real Armalites and airsoft versions (Keep in mind airsoft magwells are more shallow then real steel)

Marushin – M500 U.S. Version

{simplegrade:4}
Manufacturer: Marushin (Japan)
Type: Gas Pump Shotgun

Marushin – M500 U.S. Version

The Marushin – M500 U.S. Version is a model Marushin specifically built for the U.S. market. Some of its' internals have been beefed up to reliably handle Green Gas and this model fires 3 bbs per shot. Appearance and feel wise, this is 1 of the most realistic airsoft replicas of a real steel gun. Even the sound of racking the pump sounds as if your loading a shell.

Marushin – M500 U.S. Version. Nice Sticker Design 😉

The internal tube feed style magazine carries 48 bb's (16 – 3 shots). The gas reservoir is also internal.

I chrono'd using AEX's In shop radar chrono and at home with my Chrony light based chronograph. The results using Marushin's .27 gram 8mm bb's were surprisingly high if you take into account all measurement were based on 3 shots

Tokyo Marui – Type 89 Short Style Magazine

{simplegrade:5}
Manufacturer: Tokyo Marui (Japan)

Tokyo Marui – Type 89 Short Style Magazine

This give a hint of what's incoming next 😉 This is the Tokyo Marui – Type89, 70 Round, Short Style magazine. It is designed like the original Type 89, 69 Round Magazine and has the new type of follower which feeds all bb's.? These feed flawlessly as with most TM lowcaps.

Tokyo Marui – Type 89 Short Style Magazine

Just like the original Type 89 Magazines, although they appear to be the same dimensions as other M4/M16 magazines, they only work in Type 89s and on G36's fitted with the PPA magazine adapter.

A.C.M. – M14 100 Round Midcaps (2 Pack)

{simplegrade:3}
Manufacturer: A.C.M. (China)

A.C.M. – M14 100 Round Midcaps (2 Pack)

I placed another small order with RSOV for some miscellaneous parts recently. I noticed he had a 2 pack of A.C.M. (All China Made) M14 Magazines that cost about $14.00 U.S. Had to check them out at that price.

The are all plastic magazines. But a very thick solid plastic was used. The magazines fit perfectly into 2 of my TM M14's unlike some other midcaps that have recently released into the market (i.e. no filing needed for fitting onto a TM M14). They look similar in design to MAG M4 Midcaps in that they have an access door on the magazines bottom to access the spring and follower. Unfortunately these have a weak spring installed, possibly even weaker then G&P magazine springs. In full auto with a 9.6 battery you will get results like:

  • bb, bb, no bb, no bb, no bb, bb, bb, bb, no bb, no bb, no bb, etc…

And it will not feed the entire magazine. Already tried the silicon oil trick, but same problem It's a little better with the slower ROF of an 8.4, but it will still miss. At this time i cannot recommend these as a viable alternative to M14 magazine. Will keep working on them though and update if I can achieve any better results.

First Factory – X47 AK Rail System

{simplegrade:5}
Manufacturer: Nitro Vo (Japan)
Type: Rail System

First Factory – X47 AK Rail System

The First Factory/NitroVo – X47 AK Rail System is an all aluminum rail system which is a copy of the TDI rail system used on BHI SOPMOD AK series. This is my latest addition to my AK SOPMOD project.

First Factory – X47 AK Rail System – Best Packaging for a Rail System EVER 😉

It differs from the UFC and Land Arms X47's in that it has no TDI/X47 marking or TDI copied rail Covers. Quality wise the build is solid and installation is straight forward. On my setup I have the G&P metal body, so the upper fore grip was a tight fit.

King Arms – AK Stock Adapter

{simplegrade:4}
Manufacturer: King Arms (Hong Kong)
Type: Stock Adapter

King Arms – AK Stock Adapter

The King Arms – AK Stock Adapter is an affordable and cleverly designed add-on for most full stock AK47 and AK74 bodies. It's made mostly of a reinforced plastic or resin and lets you easily add an M4 style butt stock to an AK.

King Arms – AK Stock Adapter in Element AK74 Metal Body

The adapter is already set for rear wiring of a battery capable stock. Adn comes with the QD Sling Swivel. I have dry fit this adapter onto the following AK bodies:

  • TM AK47 Plastic Body – Fits Perfectly. Durability questionable since Plastic Body + Plastic Stock Adapter + Metal Stock Tube may not be the most durable in the long run.
  • TM Compatible AK47 Metal Bodies (CA, King Arms, Prime, DTP, Element) – Fits well. In some cases some sanding may be needed. Not the adapters fault though.
  • AK74 Style Full Stock Metal Bodies (Element) – Fits but needs dremelling. Also not the adapters fault.

Installation was EXTREMELY easy. Installation manual here.

Tokyo Marui – M14 SOCOM, CQB EBR

{simplegrade:5}
Manufacturer: Tokyo Marui (Japan)
Type: AEG

This will be my 2nd Tokyo Marui M14. Was so impressed by the build quality, performance, and multitude of upgrades/add-ons, I went with TM again. This is also my 2nd EBR conversion. This time I went with the Trigger Happy CQB EBR which is a more weight balanced option if you add a battery capable stock.

Tokyo Marui – M14 SOCOM, CQB EBR

The TM M14 SOCOM comes with a shortened inner/outer barrel setup. The original SOCOM stock is extremely nice as well, with the pebbled black texture. It's more rigid then the original M14 stocks.

Tokyo Marui – M14 SOCOM, CQB EBR

This EBR has been setup to use a G&P style 9.6 crane stock battery. Rewiring was relatively easy, and the end result is a more balanced AEG. The stock FPS is very respectable and only slightly lower then the Original TM M14.
