Added the Classic Army – SCAR Large Stock, to give my SCAR a bit more battery space. It will carry the 9.6v/2000Mah Nunchuck batteries as pictured or the custom 10.8v's up to 2700Mah. the stock is fixed and does not expand out.

The Nitro.Vo – Battery Box Type-E can be best described as a Battery Box, with a dummy red dot scope. It serves it's purpose as a battery box, for an 8.4 mini battery well. Battery change out is a breeze.

But the Red Dot scope is little more then an LED reflecting off a clear plastic lense. It does not function like a real red dot scope does. So if you are hoping this will serve in both roles, it won't. With a real red dot scope, the dot stays oriented down the barrel. The NitroVo boxes red dot is all over the place.

I got this for my MK46 since after adding the fore grip rails, it became cumbersome to load the battery internally. I used an external PEQ box for a while, but thought the Nitro Battery Box would be a good solution.

As you can see in the comparison pics, the Nitro Box is very plasticy. Very hard to replicate the black metal of the real EOTech. But the dimensions are suprisingly pretty close.

After only having this installed for a few days.. The extended Bolt snapped off ;( The welds appear to have rusted a bit and just releasing the bolt was enough force to snap the handle off. Bad build, bad quality. Avoid this add-on.

I chose to add the GWS AK SOPMOD Bolt and Selector because I want to build a Blackheart Int'l Style AK SOPMOD. I'm waiting for a few more parts to complete the build,but it's well underway.

The GWS AK SOPMOD Bolt and Selector is a nice simple all metal kit. The custom selector switch will hold the bolt open and cosmetically it serves it's purpose.
Unfortunately you do need to remove the stock TM plastic battery tray on the AK for installation. The only problem with that is the mechbox and some innards are visible after installation

G&P 587 AK Tactical Conversion Kit on TM AK47
The G&P 587 AK Tactical Conversion kit is a nice kit for modernizing an AK. This specific kit will accommodate wiring a battery to the rear crane stock. With a little help from mechbox.com, it was a straight forward install which I can give equal credit to G&P and TM for the quality builds of their respected products. (G&P does NOT provide install instructions). Once installed it's a rock solid AK giving it an even more evil appearance ;P
I problem to note. The foregrip top rail is almost too high. You can barely see the front post using iron sights. Not a problem if you choose to use electronic optics.
In the pic above I've already modified the kit by adding the Clubfoot stock, GWS SOPMOD Bolt and Selector and a Real K-VAR KFH Flash Hider with -14mm thread conversion.

Magpul MIAD Grip and Enhanced Trigger Guard
This is the airsoft version of the Magpul MIAD (MIssion ADaptable) Grip. This is an airsoft replica of the real Magpul MIAD grip and does not have all the comfort attachments or storage options. But it is an extremely comfortable and well built grip. The Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard is another Magpul simple affordable solution. It fills that annoying gap between the grip and finger guard and allows for gloved shooting.
The installation was very straightforward. I've installed this grip onto my TM M4 S-System which still has stock plastic body, and it had no fitting problems whatsoever. I also installed a 2nd MIAD on my TM M4 R.I.S with Systema Metal Body, also with no problems. The motor noise has noticeably increased over the stock TM M16 grip though..

The unique functionality is you can set it to "remember" your favorite extended stock setting. The release lever is easy to actuate and can be positively locked into position. The stock can expand from 10" in length to 14" in 8 even spaced increments.

The Magpul M93 Stock is made for Armalite style stock tubes. I added a device called the First Factory Hybrid Stock Base to make my G36 compatible with this stock system.

Proud Noveske Style Flash Hider
If you browse any airsoft retailer, you’ll notice a bunch of mfg’s have made a Noveske Style Flash Hider. I chose to go with the Proud version becasue it was the closest match in color to Falt Dark Earth and it can be either 14mm+ or 14mm-. It’s a solid unit, but lacks the Noveske markings.

Is it worth $60+ bux? Maybe, but not for airsoft. I can see where this has it's advantages on a real steel rifle. Once put in place on a rail, it's going nowhere.
Ugh more problems.? Wil not work on the M4 S-System lower rail.?
Nice and well built grip though. Internal storage compartment is a plus too. An airsofter could go with a less expensive vertical grip though.

Just discovered that TM Type 89 Magazines will work in the PPA Magwell. (Another great tip from AEX 😉 TM Type 89 mags will not fit in a regular Armalite style AEG though. Not only do they work, they work well in that it's a much more snug fit. Virtually no mag wobble and as with all the other Armalite style magazines, the bbs feed perfectly.

So far, TM Low Caps, TM High Caps, MAG Mid Caps, Star Low Caps and even my old… DTP Beta C-Mag have functioned flawlessly in the magwell conversion. With C-Mag installed it is a little trouble getting to the mag release though.
