The Oakley Sabot line of footwear is a new line that looks to be replacing Tactical Six lineup. The Sabot line uses less leather and suede than the Oakley’s S.I. (Standard Issue) Military Line, and is much cooler. They utilize a moisture wicking lining, much like the Oakley Basic Training line. They are extremely comfortable for all day wear, but you can feel the build difference between these and the S.I. Military Line.
Unfortunately the edges of the leather started turning white after about 1 week of wearing. Would not recommend this specific Oakleys due to that.
Oakley’s propaganda as follows:
We took the name from a projectile bushing, a salute to our 20-year alliance with the United States Military. This civilian footwear collection joins the highest ranks of performance by featuring innovations from that ongoing partnership. Aggressive technology matches durability with all-day comfort in a design ready to battle hostile terrain.
